October 6, 2012 - Tully Salon needs your booking, before it's too late!

Gentle reader,

We write to update you on LAVA’s quarterly Salon series at Musso & Frank.

Have you been waiting to reserve your tickets to the October 15 Salon on the hard-boiled novelist, journalist and screenwriter Jim Tully? Reservations have been slower than we expected, and the restaurant will not be able to host the dinner if more reservations are not made by Monday morning!

If you are planning to attend, please email us with the number of people in your party (we are keeping a list), then contact Musso & Frank by email to make your reservation, through their contact link: http://mussoandfrank.com/contact

The October 15 Salon is slated to be the final gala event in a weeklong series of film screenings, lectures and walking tours.

ABOUT THE SALON: Our fourth Salon, JIM TULLY: A HOBO IN HOLLYWOOD, featuring a presentation from Tully’s biographers Mark Dawidziak and Paul Bauer, is scheduled for Monday, October 15. We hope you can join us for an evening celebrating an extraordinary American character, who rode the rails out from Ohio to find himself at Charlie Chaplin’s table at Musso’s, writing it all down as Hollywood grew up around them.

More info about this event is at the link below:

We hope to see you at the Salon on October 15, but you’re most welcome to check out LAVA’s other interesting events, which are briefly excerpted below.

Please visit the LAVA website, Twitter or Facebook page (links below), or sign up for the main LAVA Flows email newsletter at the LAVA site for regular updates on events other than the Salon at Musso & Frank.

yrs,

Kim & Richard
