The Final Day of the King Eddy Saloon
Join us for the final business day of the historic King Eddy Saloon, which has been serving the neighborhood since 1933, and is passing out of the hands of the Croick family. There are many reasons you should care, but on this poignant last day you’ll need to have some goodwill “on tap” to make up for the bar’s nearly depleted the liquor supply—they’ll be receiving their last shipment on December 1, and draining every bottle and keg with no re-orders before this final Last Call. Please drop in at some point in your day (or night) and spare a thought for what this landmark establishment has been to the city of Los Angeles, and what it can be in years to come under its new ownership.
