With choreography built into and around a 1961 vintage Oasis trailer, Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre’s At the Oasis showings will explore the idea of home as something one takes with them as they travel, move, and participate in daily life. A reaction to Los Angeles’ sprawling, mobile climate, the traveling production will become an inclusive public engagement vehicle. Collecting stories with each neighborhood, video projection, live music, and athletic movement will be built into the artistic creation of the piece.
