On the evening of February 7, 2012, the “modern” metal grate that was applied to the historic 1935 facade of Clifton’s Cafeteria circa 1962 was removed in advance of the next day’s press conference about plans for the building’s restoration. This video shows stills of the removal process, and the unveiling itself.
