Amy Inouye is a book designer (dba Future Studio), occasional artist (relational installations), gallerist, and mom to Chicken Boy (aka the Statue of Liberty of Los Angeles). She is on the boards of the Arroyo Arts Collective, North Figueroa Association, and Photo Friends of the LA Public Library.<\/p>\n
Future Studio has designed about a hundred books, many on Los Angeles subjects (Wilshire Boulevard: Grand Concourse of Los Angeles; Santa Monica Beach: A Collector’s Pictorial History; Paradise Promoted: The Booster Campaign that Created Los Angeles 1870-1930;<\/em> and Brown Acres: An Intimate History of the Los Angeles Sewers)<\/em>. FS also works with clients such as the Audubon Center at Debs Park, the Los Angeles Conservancy, and Paramount on all kinds of other print projects.<\/p>\n Future Studio Gallery is host to monthly openings on Second Saturday evenings (part of NELAart.com Gallery Night). We also host an occasional lecture and art events out in the neighborhood.<\/p>\n
